I have a diverse career background which includes business and information technology. I started off in the travel industry and then moved into human resources and safety management. I learned website design as a hobby and volunteered as a webmaster for several years. I got really into technology and decided to make a career change, so I went back to school and earned a Master's degree in technology management. Now I work at a non profit as Director of User Experience and do freelance website projects.
I enjoy helping entrepreneurs create websites that support their business objectives. I build custom, WordPress, and ecommerce websites. See information about my website design services.
Planning and Communication
I will provide a realistic timeline for your project and stay on schedule. As we work, I will stay in touch to let you know as tasks are completed and remind you of any items on your to-do list. When you need me, I’ll be there - I respond to emails and voice mails quickly.
My role is to help you develop and maintain a web presence that achieves your business objectives. After I learn your priorities, I will suggest appropriate web solutions. As we work, I’ll also keep my eye out for ways that I can add value to your website.
Collaboration and Empowerment
I believe in sharing knowledge to help you understand the key technology elements of your website. If you want to know the basics, I’ll provide a big-picture overview. If you want to learn the nitty-gritty, I’m happy to explain. For WordPress websites, I will provide a custom 'how to guide' and training.
